If you are looking for accommodation in central Ripon then Cathedral View Apartment could be just the place! This stunning, modern property is less than a 2-minute walk from the city centre and its shops, bars and restaurants – not to mention the imposing and magnificent Cathedral.
The apartment is stylish and comfortable. It sleeps 4 people and has a super king bedroom that can be made up as a twin room (please let us know which you prefer when booking). The second bedroom is a double.
The property boasts a delightful sun terrace where you can dine al fresco with a view of the Cathedral.
There is an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with a cosy log burner and a modern bathroom with shower over the bath.
It’s a short walk to the market square where you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars. Our little city has several tourist attractions to enjoy too. See our ‘What’s On’ page for updates or check out our Facebook page before you arrive.
The complimentary toiletries are Sea Kelp from Fine Scottish Soaps. These luxury products are perfect for sensitive skin, are dermatologically tested and have a wonderfully reviving coastal fragrance. We supply toilet tissue, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap.
Towels and bed linen is all provided. If you need a travel cot or high chair then just let us know when you book!
The modern kitchen has all the practical utensils, electrical items, cookware, glasses, tableware, cutlery etc. that you will need for your visit. We provide dishwasher and washing machine tabs, a tea towel, dishcloth and sponge, cleaning spray and bin bags. It also has integrated washing machine, dishwasher, over, fridge freezer and cooker hob, not to mention the pots and pans for rustling up a feast (or snack), unless you prefer to have a takeaway delivered from one of the numerous restaurants or takeaways.
There is a Smart TV in the lounge and WiFi is free.
A bundle of complimentary logs, firelighters and kindling is provided and more is available for an extra charge.
Sorry, dogs are not allowed at this property but are very welcome at Little Harries Cottage and The Old Telephone Exchange.

Perfect place for two people or two couples. Immaculate interior, cozy living area and spacious kitchen. The bath tub fits 183cm to 2m tall people! Beds are huge and the perfect combination of firm and soft. Parking was rarely an issue. If the spots outside are full up, just a few 10s of meters down the road you find a spot. Most days spaces become available just after working hours. Morning coffees outside seeing the sun rise over Ripon Cathedral are fantastic. Ever night we walked into the middle of town and enjoyed the local pubs. I definitely recommend staying here.

This is a really nice, clean, well-equipped apartment very close to the centre of Ripon but not at all noisy. Very short walk to the centre, including the amazing cathedral, and plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. Ripon is a great location for visiting historical sites (abbeys, castles, etc) and the moors and dales are not far away. No dedicated parking but we always found a space outside or just along the road.

A truly little gem! The flat was great and perfect for our young family. The area is very quiet and ideal to visit Ripon and the area of the Yorkshire Dales. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again. The flat was always warm, spotless and the fire place was the cherry on the cake.

Good central location should you wish to explore Ripon, Harrogate, York and other local places. Flat is nicely done, clean and with all necessary amenities. There are local shops like Booths, Sainsbury’s etc. Plenty of restaurants and coffee places like Nero, Cost etc. Cathedral is beautiful and if you did like run or jogging, one can do 5k easily from flat to few rounds of cathedral and market place. Parking is free which is downstairs or road across and easily available. Netflix is provided, so all in all good value for money.

Bright, modern and clean accommodation in a great location. The Nespresso machine was an absolute bonus. Easy drive to many of the beautiful attractions in the Yorkshire Dales with great, easy walking distance, to local pubs and restaurants in Ripon. Great stay and would definitely stay again.

This is the best Airbnb property we have ever stayed in and we really couldn’t fault it! The apartment is just as beautifully decorated as the pictures suggest and it is so well equipped that our stay was wonderfully comfortable and easy. You can walk to the market place in minutes and on street parking was readily available. We visit Ripon regularly and hope to become regular visitors to Cathedral View after such a wonderful stay!

A centrally located apartment with easy access to shops and takeaways in Ripon. Comfortable with new furnishing, crockery etc. Very well insulated and everything worked well. The crockery/glasses etc were all quite ‘posh’ so if you have smaller children you might want to bring your own! I would recommend. We were a family with two teenagers. Enough sofa space and big TV!

We particularly liked the fantastic view of the beautiful cathedral and the great location. Everything you need within walking distance. We have to come back again for a longer stay to experience the Thursday market and explore the surrounding area further. Definitely can recommend highly!

What a lovely apartment – even better than it looks in the pictures! So well equipped and spotlessly clean. It came with a cot, highchair and toddler toilet seat and step which was perfect for our 20 month old and made the trip much less stressful. There was also step free access to the property so we could push the pram right up to the flat.
The apartment is within walking distance of a supermarket, cafes and restuarants and there is a park only minutes away. Would highly recommend this apartment; we’ve already told all of our family about it and they can’t wait to come and stay! Could you please make payment in order to get the reduced price? This is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. It is stylish but comfortable and has everything you could need. All the kitchen equipment is spot on! I really appreciated the log burner and fuel for our first night. Wonderful comfy beds. Perfect bathroom – with lovely quality toiletries provided. We had a temporary issue with the wi-fi on arrival which was handled very quickly by the owner in response to a message on Airbnb. We would love to come again!
